5782 Essence of Lashon Hara When a person comes to the Kohen to inform him of the Tzaraas in his house, the Pasuk says he should say כנגע נראה לי בבית. Rashi writes אפילו תלמיד חכם שיודע שהוא נגע ודאי לא יפסוק דבר ברור לומר נגע נראה לי, אלא כנגע נראה לי. However Rashi doesn’t give a reason for this Halacha and why this is specifically by נגעים.
